‘Hollyoaks’ actor Tony Hirst’s children tease him for being sexy.
The 42-year-old actor – who played handsome single dad Mike Barnes –revealed he gets “mocked mercilessly” by his two children Kate and Jack so gaining so many female fans during his time on the show.
He said: “I’m aware of it and I’m mocked mercilessly by my kids for it! It’s not for me to make any judgement – if other people see it, then… I’d like to have whatever they’re taking! It’s very flattering, but again, not for me to comment.”
During his time on the show, Tony locked lips with two of his co-stars, Sarah Jane Buckley, who played his wife Kathy Barnes, and Zoe Lister, who played his university student girlfriend Zoe Carpenter.
To Tony, kissing an actress as “beautiful” as Zoe was “very dangerous”.
He said: “Sarah Jane Buckley was possibly the greatest hugger in the world, I miss her hugs. I’m quite lucky because I still occasionally have a Sarah Jane Buckley hug.
“Zoe Lister, on the other hand, has a very nice flavour of lip gloss! But she’s so beautiful; it’s a very dangerous place to go! They’re both a great joy and privilege.”
Handsome? LOL i’ve seen better looking guys at my local pub,i’m glad he’s left as he didn’t bring anything to the soap,i hope he never returns,they killed off the wrong Barnes.
