Kieron hurt from Dancing on Ice training!

Kieron needed stitches!

The Hollyoaks actor  – who is partnered in the show by professional skater Brianne Delcourt – was taken to hospital after he stumbled while learning a tricky move for his latest routine and split open his lip.

He explained:  “There’s the axel jump which is a very difficult jump to do and they’ve given me two half axels to do, and in training yesterday, during the half axel, I over-rotated it and actually did a full axel, which is really difficult to do, and because I’m not used to doing it I landed teeth first and I cut my mouth open and ended up in hospital. I was only there for about an hour and a half so it wasn’t that bad.

“I’ve had five stitches in the past two weeks! The thing is, me and Brianne have got through six weeks of the show with no injuries whatsoever and everyone’s been harping on about, ‘Oh, I’ve hurt this and oh, I’ve hurt that!’ and now we get it all at once! No more injuries next week…touch wood!”

Despite dismissing his injury as minor, Kieron admits it is causing problems for his bosses on Hollyoaks, as he is still filming his role as Ste Hay while training for ‘Dancing On Ice’.

He explained: “I finished my training yesterday and it’s my first day back in work today. Make-up haven’t seen my elephant man face yet! I’ve already filmed most of my scenes in this episode and there are three scenes today which they’re going to have to slot in and I’m gonna have this fat lip now.”
