Back together for good?

The ‘Hollyoaks’ actor – who was dumped by his stunning co-star in November following allegations he had been unfaithful – has suggested all has been forgotten by the 27-year-old actress as she is looking after him while he feels unwell.

He tweeted: “Carley lookin after me again, hot water bottle pimp!! Mmmmm warm”

Since their break-up, the 28-year-old hunk has spoken out about his heartache following the split and his determination to win Carley back several times.

However, Ricky has now fuelled rumours they are back together by posting a series of lovelorn messages on his twitter account.

In one post, Ricky even writes cryptically about the “consequences” of his “actions”.

He tweeted: “There is no such thing as right or wrong, only the consequences of our actions.

“Love grows by giving, the love we keep can only be retained by giving it away, love is friendship set on fire.

“Absence is to love what wind is to fire, it extinguishes the small and rekindles the great, goodnight and be safe.”

Ricky was also spotted sitting next to ‘girlfriend’ Carley in this week’s audience of Dancing on Ice to support fellow co-star Kieron Richardson.

But seriously, how long is it going to last if they are back together? Ricky has already announced his plans to try and make it in Hollywood once he departs Hollyoaks. So if he does land some kind of movie or sitcom role out there, can a long distance relationship really work? Carley surely can’t leave Hollyoaks and join him out there too? Arggggh we need answers and we need to know if they have thought this through properly… (because we’re not fully licensed relationship coaches – just nosey!)

Ricky heartbroken since split with Carley

The departing ‘Hollyoaks’ actor – who split with co-star Carley Stenson in November last year after two years– said he hasn’t been dating since, as he is still not over the split from his former co-star.

Speaking at the National Television Awards (NTAs) last night (20.01.10) he said: “Ricky’s not dating, because Ricky’s still got a broken heart.

“Everybody knows Ricky has a broken heart. When you come out of a relationship like I was, then it takes some time, I’m not involved with anyone.”

At the time of the split, Ricky was rumoured to be romantically involved with his ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ co-star Natalie Lowe, a claim he has since denied.

Having starred in the reality show as well as ‘Hollyoaks’, Ricky joked that it doubled his chances of winning an award.

He added: “I’ve got my family and I’ve got my adopted family from ‘Strictly’ so I’m here for both. Double the chance of winning, so fingers crossed we’ll do well.”

Ricky – whose on-screen death has already been shown in ‘Hollyoaks’ in a special flash forward episode – also confirmed he will head to the US to pursue his acting career when he leaves in May.

He added: “When you’re coming out of a job it’s the unknown and you always want to try and better yourself and be the best you can be, I want to chase my dreams, my dreams are in America.

“If I fail I fail, unlucky, but at least I’ve tried and I’ll come back and we’ll see what happens over here.”

Will any of you kind lot help his heal his heart? We sure would, but we have a restraining order against us after the last ‘incident’ we tried to get close to him!! (JJ)

Not so close...

The Hollyoaks stars got back together earlier this month after ending their two-year relationship weeks earlier but they want to take things slowly.

Ricky – who competes in the final of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday (19.12.09) – said: “We are very much back on, but it’s early days yet and we’re not spending Christmas together.”

Ricky was dumped by Carley amid claims he had cheated on her, but the handsome star convinced her to give their relationship another go.

A friend of the couple said: “Ricky’s a gorgeous man and he gets a lot of attention, but at the end of the day Carley knows he really adores her.

“It’s been tough for them but they can’t imagine life without each other.”

Rumours had circulated saying Ricky had cheated on Carley last December, which sources believe are at the root of the split.

A source said: “Carley has been crying ever since the split. She loves Ricky but when she found out he had cheated on her, she just couldn’t trust him.”

Right that’s it everyone – PUT AWAY the Mistletoe!! It just ain’t happening!

Although maybe it’s wise for them to spend Christmas apart if they want to give the relationship a real go? It is meant to be the most argumentative and row-intensive time of the year!

Back together!

Yay! Our favourite Hollyoaks duo are back together (just in time for Xmas!)

Ricky Whittle who plays hunk Calvin Valentine, has won Carley Stenson back (Steph Cunningham) after they split over rumours Ricky had got sticky with his Strictly partner, Natalie Lowe.

A friend of the couple told The Sun: “Ricky’s a gorgeous man and he gets a lot of attention, but at the end of the day Carley knows he really adores her.

“Strictly is over in two weeks and they want to be together for Christmas. It’s been tough for them but they can’t imagine life without each other.”

We’re so happy! Ricky’s had a tough time with the flu recently so hopefully they can share a quiet Christmas together – possibly even with a Strictly Come Dancing crown?

In today’s People newspaper, they have claimed that Carley dumped Ricky for cheating on her with a model.

According to model Charlie Allen, the Hollyoaks actor bought the model bottles of vodka and sambuca before taking her back to his hotel room where she performed a sexual act on him.

Carley Stenson who plays Steph Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap reportedly said to a friend:

“I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. Now I am trying to get my life back together.

“Thankfully, I have great friends and family members around me. They are keeping a watchful eye on me and I am just trying to keep busy with work.”

She also went on to reveal how her family and friends added pressure for her to ditch Ricky:

“There was a lot of pressure on me from family and friends to end the relationship.

“In the end I realised that not being together made sense. It is the right decision. So I’m single right now.

“I’m planning a trip away with my girlfriends. Hopefully, it will help me forget about things.

“It’s going to be tough at work because we are both on set and will be working closely together in future scenes.

“But we’re both professional and so I’m sure we’ll manage.”

A spokesman for Rickey and Carley said: “They will make no further comment about their split.”
