Kieron turning into Hollyoaks veteran

Kieron Richardson has confirmed at the British Soap Awards ceremony that he will be STAYING at Hollyoaks.

Kieron, who plays bad boy Ste Hay, has cast aside any worries that he might have been part of the mass axings that took place earlier this year under the guidance of new producer Paul Marquess.

Talking to WhatsOnTV – Kieron believes he will become a Hollyoaks veteran – and sees himself still being on the show in 5 years time!

Kieron also added that he saw himself “Owning a few of the businesses…”

Ooo? Everyone else thinking The Dog!!?

Kieron went on to say that he ‘loved’ Paul Marquess because he’s kept him in the show and given him some really exciting and big storylines for the future.

But when asked what they were he said: “[I can't tell] because he’d shoot me. But the storyline, from what he’s said about it, will be massive for the show – in a good way – and bring back a lot of the audience that might have fizzled out and got bored with the show, keep it fresh with lots of new characters.”

Watch this space – we think that Ste’s going to have some big things happen to him this year!

OUR photo above shows Hollyoaks’ Kieron Richardson looking more like a L’Oreal screentest than his onscreen ‘bad boy’ persona.

The photo has been leaked online this week after Kieron’s performance at the Dancing on Ice Tour in Birmingham.

Kieron was photographed with ‘Oaks Superfan Joanna Fletcher (@CFountainFans) who said;

“It was so exciting to meet Kieron and the rest of the Hollyoaks gang. We queued for hours!”

Talking about Kieron’s look, Joanna added; “Kieron looked so different in person that I didn’t recognise him at first! But he was so lovely. He had the cutest blue eyes ever!”

Now to set the record straight we LOVE Kieron at HollyoaksOMG.com – and it’s not as if Kieron hasn’t raised eyebrows before with his effeminate ways.

Remember the time he donned that pink outfit on the ice?

But if you compare this recent photo with the one below – you can see HOW DIFFERENT Kieron really looks from his onscreen character Ste.

Kieron came 3rd in Competition

Dancing on Ice lured in a huge number of Hollyoaks viewers this year as our very own Kieron Richardson (who plays Ste Hay in the show) took part.

Unfortunately Kieron didn’t win the contest but he did come an impressive third, defying critics who thought he would be voted out weeks before the final.

Kieron has just returned from a nice break in Benidorm and a sleepy Richardson had this to say;

“Sorry for pestering you about making you vote for me every week! I can’t believe we managed to get to the final and a lot of it’s not really down to me learning how to skate, it’s down to you voting and getting me through each week and I really appreciate it. I’m never going to forget the help you gave!”

“Benidorm was fantastic! It was hot, it was mental! Everyone was coming up to me and congratulating me and all my friends were there. I loved it!”

But now speculation is rife that ANOTHER Hollyoaks star will be following in Kieron’s footsteps and will participate in Dancing on Ice 2011! OMG!

Who will it be though? Everyone at ITV are (of course) keeping details hush-hush and won’t give any clues into potential candidates that they are lining up…

But a little birdie has hinted at Nico Mirallegro’s (Newt) desires to perform on the show! Oooo!

Kieron Richardson polled LAST in last night’s Dancing on Ice 2010 finale.

All fingers were crossed here at HollyoaksOMG.com for our Hollyoaks star to win the ice skating competition but apparently it wasn’t enough!

Kieron had successfully managed to make it to the final after stunning critics who claimed he was the favourite to leave last week!

By the end – Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon was crowned winner beating Kieron to third place and ex-Hollyoaks star Gary Lucy into second place.

But all is not lost. Co-skater Danniella Westbrook is apparently taking Kieron to Las Vegas so they can let some steam off!

Kieron said: “Danniella and I have holidays planned – she’s taking me to Las Vegas.

“Brianne is coming as well, along with Danniella’s skating partner Matt. She’s going to show me the town.”

Interesting friendship. Wasn’t Danniella the ex-Eastenders actress turned coke sniffer?

Kieron Richardson who plays bad boy Ste Hay has recently revealed that he is yet to MEET the new boss at Hollyoaks and is SCARED that he might be axed like his fellow co-stars!

Kieron who is currently participating in the ITV reality show, Dancing on Ice, said he didn’t know if his contract will be renewed in November.

He added: “I think everybody’s worried about their jobs because it’s an amazing place to work.

“Nobody wants to leave. But if they do leave I’m sure people will work again.

“My contract isn’t due for renewal yet so I don’t know what’s going on.

“But word on the street is that I’ve got a good storyline coming up.

“Because of Dancing On Ice I haven’t had a chance to meet the new producer yet.

“It sounds like his ideas are all for the good of the show and only to make it bigger and better – and hopefully that will be with me in it.”

Viewers will see Kieron battle it out this weekend in the Dancing on Ice final. He had been the favourite to leave the show last week but managed to survive and make it through to the final.

We’re pretty sure that with Kieron’s huge support he’s received from being on the reality show, coupled with his amazing acting talent, he should just manage to survive the axing block too!

Kieron Richardson has picked up celebrity support in the form of X Factor heros – John and Edward!

Our Kieron (who plays bad boy Ste Hay) is currently battling it out in ITV’s Dancing on Ice and last week he made it into the final 7!

Kieron has been wowing us with his sexy moves on the ice and particularly took our breath away when he donned that pink sequin outfit(!) But it seems we’re not the only fans…

The UK’s most infamous identical twins, Jedward, have pledged their support to Kieron and want him to win!

Kieron posted on his Twitter page; “Just met jedward! And they said they r backing us for dancing on ice and Sharon osbourne loved last weeks routine x”

And our lovely photo above shows how pally they have become.

Jedward genius? Or are they plainly wearing more foundation than Robert Pattinson?

Kieron needed stitches!

The Hollyoaks actor  – who is partnered in the show by professional skater Brianne Delcourt – was taken to hospital after he stumbled while learning a tricky move for his latest routine and split open his lip.

He explained:  “There’s the axel jump which is a very difficult jump to do and they’ve given me two half axels to do, and in training yesterday, during the half axel, I over-rotated it and actually did a full axel, which is really difficult to do, and because I’m not used to doing it I landed teeth first and I cut my mouth open and ended up in hospital. I was only there for about an hour and a half so it wasn’t that bad.

“I’ve had five stitches in the past two weeks! The thing is, me and Brianne have got through six weeks of the show with no injuries whatsoever and everyone’s been harping on about, ‘Oh, I’ve hurt this and oh, I’ve hurt that!’ and now we get it all at once! No more injuries next week…touch wood!”

Despite dismissing his injury as minor, Kieron admits it is causing problems for his bosses on Hollyoaks, as he is still filming his role as Ste Hay while training for ‘Dancing On Ice’.

He explained: “I finished my training yesterday and it’s my first day back in work today. Make-up haven’t seen my elephant man face yet! I’ve already filmed most of my scenes in this episode and there are three scenes today which they’re going to have to slot in and I’m gonna have this fat lip now.”

Allegedly the man above (Jason Gardiner), the Simon Cowell of Dancing on Ice, has been responsible for over 15,000 complaints sent in by viewers to ITV.

Jason has already apologised for his controversial comments on last week’s show, when he compared Sharron Davies to faecal matter.

Viewers have criticised Gardiner over his slurs and called for the judge to be SACKED.

But the judge has also come under fire for scrutinizing OUR KIERON! And rightly so!

The Simon Cowell wannabe said Kieron was too skinny and needed to spend more time in the gym! OMG!

Kieron wrote on this twitter page; “i hate being skinny so iv ate too much i feel sick arghhh… who cares im over it as long as im healthy so wat!”

Was it really sensible for Jason to make these kind of personal comments if it makes someone paranoid about the way they look? We thought we lived in modern times where everyone should be able to feel comfortable in their own skin NO MATTER WHAT they look like.

And for the record, Kieron looks fine!

One of our readers has even started a petition to get Jason to formally apologise for his disgusting remarks on last week’s show. Let’s see if us lot can add a few more signatures eh?

All eyes will be on tonight’s show. Let’s see if Jason can keep his forked tongue shut this time!
